The Community and Social Service Specialist aka a Senior Community Building Coordinator (SCBC)’s primary role is to engage community members, build community capacity through supporting resident driven groups and activities, developing resident leaders, build both internal and external relationships in the community and provide compliance oversight and timely reporting of legal service requirements. It also includes the direct supervision, mentoring and training of junior Achieve staff members to enhance our onsite programs for youth and adults that are critical to creating stable homes and inspiring families to transform their futures. The SCBC works to focus all programs, partners, and activities on breaking down barriers and helping families achieve success in the following strategic areas: Financial Well-being, Next Gen Success, and Health and Wellness. The SCBC will work with the Achieve Management Team in reaching all goals and objectives set for the each year.
This Senior Community Building Coordinator in Vista, CA is a full time, non-exempt position covering three (3) of our vibrant Vista, CA properties: “Los Robles” located at 1475 Oak Dr., Vista, CA 92084; "North Santa Fe" located at 301 North Santa Fe Ave., Vista, CA 92084; and "Cedar / Nettleton" located at 245 Cedar Rd., Vista, CA 92083.
