Responsible for all aspects of agency financial operations and planning in compliance with fundamental accounting standards. Provides organizational leadership, and short- and long-term financial growth and capacity building strategies. Supervises department staff and contributes as a member of the Leadership Team. Provides supervisory oversight of interpretation services and housing development programs. Negotiates and administers agency property/liability, workers’ compensation, and other business insurance coverages.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an Accounting emphasis or similar education required. CPA preferred. Prior experience with fund accounting and nonprofit organizations funded by governmental sources preferred. Knowledge of budgetary process, accounting, and auditing principles required. Strong verbal and written proficiencies required. Prior project management helpful.
