We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
- Provide office support for contract administrators with a variety of clerical activities, and related tasks
- Typing correspondences, memos, charts, tables, quotes, and condition reports from provided information using Microsoft Word, JobBoss (will provide training), and Excel
- Answer inbound telephone calls as necessary
- Enter, update, and verify data into various systems for use by all personnel while maintaining a physical file
- Perform all other office tasks as necessary
- Required previous experience in office administration in a small business, military, or machine shop type environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Non-Exempt, Full-Time position
- Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, walk around the shop floor, and to bend or stand as necessary.
