With our new CoachArt Connect platform, we can match more volunteers with kids impacted by chronic illness than ever before...
...and we're looking for a brilliant Director of Marketing to significantly increase our active base of volunteers, students, and resulting matches in the platform.
Manage our Marketing Team, consisting of: a communications contractor, and a social media contractor
Lead the digital marketing strategy, analyze the performance of acquisition efforts through SEO, digital advertising, social media, website and Google Analytics, etc, and optimize strategy across channels
Manage digital advertising strategy and optimize campaign performance
Apply CoachArt's brand and mission to lead content strategy, manage content calendar, and lead the management and creation of new visual assets
Understand our users' motivations, interests, and concerns, and find opportunities to improve acquisition and conversion practices
Oversee our Volunteer and Student Lead Funnels and find opportunities to improve our marketing/email automation and retention/conversion efforts
Review and optimize marketing budget
Monitor and report on customer satisfaction
Understand our volunteer/family communities and apply this understanding to continuously engage our current volunteer/family communities and grow our volunteer/family communities with the highest ROI on our ad budget
Increase brand awareness and organic reach
Increase top of the funnel conversions via the number of volunteer and student applications
Improve retention rates and increase bottom of the funnel conversions via match requests of volunteer/student matches
Experience working with or as a volunteer, or should have an understanding of our impact on volunteers and families in our community.
3-6 years of experience in marketing, specifically related to SEO, social media, marketing automation, digital advertising, and branding and content management
Experience with reporting and analytics through a marketing/email automation tool, social ads, and Google analytics
Experience managing advertising campaigns and reporting on Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and Youtube
Strong strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills
Strong branding and storytelling skills
Experience managing a budget
Experience managing a team and/or contractors
Self-starter with the ability to work remotely
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related
Background with Pardot preferred
Strong content writing skills is a plus!

Summary: CoachArt is a nonprofit organization that provides free arts and athletics activities to children impacted by chronic illness in California. Since 2001, CoachArt has matched volunteer coaches with chronically ill children and their siblings for one-on-one or group lessons, bringing joy and a sense of normalcy back into their lives.
Growth plans: CoachArt recently transitioned to an online platform model where volunteers log on to see the students near them who want lessons and match directly through the platform, similar to the Lyft and AirBnB business model. With the platform, we can now handle significantly more students and volunteers than ever before.
We need a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee our marketing budget and contractors to achieve big growth in the number of students, volunteers, and resulting matches.
