Job Title: Technical Consultant

Our client is the leading provider of SaaS Work Management software, has an opening for a Technical Consultant in the Customer Support department of the Global Services Organization. The position will primarily have responsibility for ensuring the success of our customers by supporting integrations between the our Work Management solution and other in-house solutions used by the customer. The position will work directly with other departments throughout the company, reporting to the Director of Customer Support. Secondary responsibilities include web development work on customer facing web properties for the Global Services departments.
Support integration solutions between us and other internal systems including SalesForce, ERPs (Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.), IT Ticketing systems (Jira, etc.), CRM and Payroll systems, etc. that have been developed by the Technical Consulting team.
Work with our customers during software warranty periods to ensure that built integrations are functioning according to the SOW.
Read, understand, and maintain detailed documentation about integrations that have been developed by the team, including updating changes made.
Develop and maintain in house web projects as assigned.
100% travel Monday - Friday. Home on weekends.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Characteristics
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 3 years integrations and web development experience. Minimum 2 years customer-facing experience.
Excellent understanding of and experience with web services, SOAP and RESTful. Experience working with XML, JSON and other common markup languages.
Familiarity with microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Azure, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and ASP.NET Web Api desired
Excellent understanding of Asynchronous technologies such as TPL 4.0/4.5 (Task Parallel Library)
Familiarity with common databases including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship skills.
Excellent analytical skills including ability to guide customers toward best practice integration designs.
Proven track record of delivering complete development projects (References may be required).
Strong technical writing experience.
