Description:
Essential Function:
Provide Leadership to develop information systems and support mechanisms applied to Human Resources. Works closely with our client's HR and IT management to develop and HR systems, and to automate processes. Assists HR practitioners in setting HR data and reporting standards for the global enterprise.

Key Accountabilities:
-Propose, implement, and manage a global strategic and tactical HRIS plan that supports the business achievement of its goals within timeframes and budget
-Create and maintain HRIS budget to meet corporate and human resources requirements and timelines
-Cultivate strong, long term relationships with key decision-makers within the organization and develop deep knowledge of the business and HRIS role within it
-Ensure that the HR technology issues are adequately reflected in the overall business strategy and develop proactive HR systems, which support business unit strategic and operational business plans
-Undertake the full range of responsibilities relevant to the leadership, management and development of the team to ensure that their performance meets and/or exceed both the business and their personal objectives
-Champion and facilitate new HR system implementations and upgrades; understand the implications of change in terms of skills, processes and competencies. Set a vision for change and create metrics and accountabilities to align objectives and enable continuous organizational improvement
-Work collaboratively with HR, IT, Purchasing, Finance, global data privacy office and other support services to provide needed services and data to their functions and to gather support and assistance for HRIS initiatives
-Ensure that the HRIS control functions comply with all internal and external quality standards, data privacy requirements and that audits are successfully completed in a timely fashion
-Develop contractual relationships, within corporate & financial guidelines, with HRIS vendors
-Provide vendor management for HRIS solution vendors to ensure that agreements and service levels are upheld
-Support metrics and reporting functions as applied to HR data and systems
-Foster a culture of service, support and accountability among the HRIS team

Experience
External:
-Experience with global Oracle 12i HRMS implementations
-Proven skills in leadership, project management and people management
-Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with senior management
-Knowledge of global data privacy regulations preferred
-International experience preferred
-Extensive HRIS management experience
-Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
-Adequate experience at a senior level leading a team
