Position Overview
Our client, a manufacturer of specialty pet food, seeks a supply chain consultant to:
  • develop and implement an improved planning process within a production environment consisting of a company-owned plant and numerous contract manufacturers
  • train and mentor a team of two planners in the new process
  • potentially identify other supply chain improvement opportunities to optimize operations, reduce complexity, and reduce cost


  • Demonstrated expertise in production planning, inventory and materials management, forecasting, etc.
  • CPG manufacturing experience; experience in the food and beverage space helpful
  • Must exhibit both hands-on ability to address tactical/execution needs and strategic/conceptual skills
  • Change management leadership skills

Project Start Date and Estimated Duration

  • Start date: late January
  • Duration: 3 months with potential to extend

Project Location and On-Site Requirements

  • Location: Boston
  • On-site requirements: 5 days/week with potential to shift to 4 days on-site and 1 day in home office once traction established
