The Children's Advocacy Center is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position with the Family Alliance Team whose primary duties will include;
Assisting non offending family members, guardians, and caretakers with a variety of support service including community resources, therapy referrals, and filing compensation claims, and supportive listening.
Coordinates community outreach with family members, guardians, and caretakers.
Organizes, updates, and maintains a list of community resources for referral purposes.
Participate in multiagency staffing as needed to provide continuity of care.
Provide follow up to families and victims to verify that they have made contact with appropriate mental health resources.
Provide needs assessment for families identified as high risk and link families to community and CAC services.
Attend community networking meetings and stay abreast of available community services. Assist the Clinical/Prevention Director and Assistant Clinical Director as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, psychology or other human services related field. One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
