Growth Marketing Strategist, Prizeo (Los Angeles)

Prizeo is seeking a growth marketing strategist to execute all aspects of high profile and complex paid social media campaigns across (primarily) Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. This paid social guru will be responsible for everything from helping our design team develop engaging and compelling ad creatives, to recommending ad budgets, optimizing spend and reporting overall ad performance. Success in this position will require superb time management skills, first-rate analytical and strategic competence and a laser-focus on conversion and revenue. The ideal candidate operates with a high sense of urgency, is exceptionally detail oriented and enjoys operating in a fast pace environment.

We’ll love you because you:

  • Develop and implement best practices for copy, creative, and audience targeting

  • Have working knowledge of multiple paid social tactics, bidding & optimization models, 3rd-party tracking and ad formats

  • Have experience developing a media strategy and building paid social media plans (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, flighting, budgeting, etc.)

  • Have experience running conversion optimized campaigns to drive direct sales

  • Have experience scaling paid ads budget with a target cost-per-acquisition

  • Have strong knowledge of the existing paid social landscape and enthusiasm for discovering new, emerging platforms or capabilities that increase efficiencies and engagement

Required:

  • Experience in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter advertising, Google AdWords

  • Past experience must be conversion focused ad campaigns with minimum managed budgets exceeding $250,000/year.

  • 2-5 years experience in paid digital advertising

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Other responsibilities include:

  • Pull daily reports on ad performance and make adjustments to ensure ROI is hitting goals

  • Communication with external teams when necessary, including client or agency teams, social vendors, and partners, providing strategic recommendations, analysis, and reporting as well as responding to ad-hoc requests

  • Maintain a high level of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in social media and paid social media (betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)

  • Maintain knowledge of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display) and how channels work together

  • Optimization of marketing assets, to deliver success through the highest possible conversion techniques and ensure that accurate tracking where appropriate is in place (e.g. advertising tools, A/B testing, landing pages, email outreach, etc.)
