Champion Container Corporation is currently looking for a Customer Account Representative to be based in Wood Dale, IL.
The Customer Account Representative is responsible for creating and maintaining high standards of service to customers in order to develop and maintain a quality reputation in the market place, build public relations and increase sales.

Customer Service Representative Responsiblities:
Responsible for placing and monitoring orders via phone, fax, e-mail and face to face order placement with outside Sales Representatives
Responds to customer service issues with status, pricing, product availability, and any other customer concerns or problems
Works closely with vendors to expedite orders and ensure customer satisfaction
Respond appropriately to all inbound calls, meeting customer needs for quick response. Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers
Respond knowledgeably to returns - credits/adjustments, and adjustment inventory
Handle product/service claims and special orders/requests
Establish approximate delivery time and cost for customers and investigate delivery delays
Handle correspondence quickly, accurately, and business-like
File original documents
Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer
Checks inventory control and notifies stock control departments of orders that would deplete stock
Routes orders to Shipping Dept. for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates
Confers with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
Reads computer files or gathers records such as purchase orders, sales tickets, and charge slips, to compile needed data
Prepares invoices, listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms, and dates of shipment
Projects and other duties as assigned
RequirementsCustomer Service Representative Responsiblities:
Experience in the Packaging Supplies/Corrugated Industry a plus.
At least 3 years of customer service experience
Must be computer literate
Proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze and interpret customer prepared documents
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions or customer service requests
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to apply sound judgment and decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine issues
Must be organized and detail oriented. Strong data entry skills are required
Experience with customer service systems. MS Dynamics GP a plus!
The individual should be self-motivated, stress and pressure resistant, as well as a quick learner and must be able to develop and maintain constructive working relationships within and outside of the Company
