Job Description:

The customer service representative is responsible maintain a professional and courteous relationship with the customers to ensure a full understanding of their needs. You will be the key point of contact for all parts of the order fulfillment process between Castella and the Customer. You will communicate with customers via phone, e-mail, fax or EDI. You will receive and accurately manage customer orders from placement to invoice and act as a liaison between customers and the various company departments. They include but are not limited to, Sales, Accounting, Inventory Planning, Plant Operations, Transportation, and Business Development.

This position is located in our Addison, IL Headquarters.

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous Customer Service Experience in a Food Service environment highly desired
  • Food industry expereince preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Previous business to business customer service experience required
  • Previous EDI and data entry experience a must
  • Must be able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to make decisions that will service both the customer and the Company while understanding the cost impact to profitability.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Identify and address real customer needs and work with customers to anticipate opportunities.
  • Team Work Effective – cooperates well with other team members to achieve shared objectives.
  • Follows thru on decisions.
  • Understands, manages and facilitates the flow of information up and down all levels of Castella Imports, Inc.
