Carolina Industrial Equipment, Inc. seeks an experienced Manager for our Parts Department. Great customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area are a must. Solid problem solving abilities, communication and computer skills are also needed. Must work well with others to achieve common goals. This position will involve the sale of parts for municipal street sweepers, snow & ice control machinery, leaf control equipment, sewer cleaning equipment, industrial floor sweepers and scrubbers and electric and gas powered utility vehicles.
Duties include: Supervision of two parts specialists, telephone sales, preparing quotes, opening sales orders, invoicing, advising customers on the status of their order, shipping and receiving, monitoring and ordering inventory, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space, updating pricing, reviewing open sales order and purchase order reports, dispensing parts to our service department for repair orders, able to develop strong internal relationships with our Service and Sales departments to best serve customer’s needs, establish and foster relationships with outside sales representatives, vendors, and parts suppliers, assess present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the Parts Department and other duties as assigned. CIE uses Sage BusinessWorks computer software.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
