Capitol Care, Inc. is a Comprehensive Behavioral Health Program. We serve individuals with developmental disabilities and we are eager to expand our team of quality employees. We are interested in hiring a Behaviorist / IHP Coordinator for our Somerset Region.
.EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES: (These are some but not all duties assigned to this position)
Coordinate development of treatment plans
Assist in development of assessments
Observe individuals to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior
Review results of data to evaluate individuals needs
Plan and administer therapeutic or behavioral treatment such as behavior modification and stress management therapy to assist individuals in controlling disorder and other problems.
Facilitate training to staff of individuals treatment plan
Create, monitor and evaluate progress notes and effectiveness of treatment plans
Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by an individual's reaction
Develop evaluative studies of therapy and therapy outcome
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and / or training
SALARY: $45,000 yearly
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be 18 years or older and be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to successfully complete required training which include American Red Cross First Aid / CPR and Crisis Management. Need to pass a pre-employment physical and a TB test prior to working and annually thereafter.
