The Account Manager is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating digital strategy across email, media, creative, and website experiences. This will consist of developing high-level strategy and implementing the tactics to drive results. Tactics include,but are not limited to: technical SEO, link building, tag placements/ad operations, content optimization, paid search ad copywriting, Google AdWords and Bing campaign management.You will also be trained on and be responsible for gleaning meaningful insights from various analytics and keyword planning tools including Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, and other third party tools.SEO ResponsibilitiesContent OptimizationYou will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing client website for appropriate word count, density, key phrases, positioning and layout. You will directly optimize the content in coordination with the account team.AnalyticsThe Search Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for other media reporting and tracking duties such as preparing monthly, weekly and ad hoc reports about the amount of media dollars spent by clients for billing and tracking purposes.Technical SEO/Website AuditsThe Search Marketing Analyst will be responsible for conducting detailed technical SEO audits for all four pillars of SEO: accessibility, indexability, on-page factors and off-page factors. The Analyst will need to be able to clearly and concisely explain the audit to client and provide actionable recommendations.Link BuildingYou will be responsible for the full-cycle of link-building initiatives: planning, coordinating, executing, tracking, analyzing, and then repeating. Examples of these responsibilities would include contacting relevant blogs/news outlets, how-to and resource oriented websites, submitting site to relevant web directories, and the like.Tag PlacementYou will be responsible for determining which tags clients need on their web site. You will then provide the code to the account team and work with the account team and the client to ensure the code is properly placed within the client's website.
