Summary: The Technology Manager, Level 2 (TM2) is responsible for the installation and management of basic and advanced audio, visual, networking, and control systems. The TM2 will frequently work on larger installations that include more complicated interconnected audio, video, network, and control systems. The TM2 will program control systems and troubleshoot the most common problems found in networks and AV systems. The position requires creative problem solving skills, excellent customer service ability, and the ability to use power tools and lift up to 75 lbs. Frequently unsupervised, the Technology Manager, Level 2, is expected to be on-time to jobs, be knowledgeable, polite, and have meticulous attention to detail in their work.
The following list is a general guidelines and the Technology Manager, Level 2 is expected to carry out other duties as assigned.
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to use a ladder
Excellent communication skills and a functional ability to communicate in the English language
Develop an understanding of product offerings and be capable of suggesting solutions for customers
Have the ability to quickly and effectively problem solve and critically think when issues arise during an installation
Work well autonomously and as part of a team
Have a strong work ethic, meticulous in work, and pay attention to details
Personal vehicle with $500,000 vehicle insurance policy
Valid, unrestricted, driver’s license
18 years of age and a US citizen
Smartphone with data plan
Under 250lbs body weight
Certification for ELAN Home Automation System
Certification for Lutron or Vantage Lighting System
CEDIA ESC & ESC-T Certification
Technology Manager, Level 2, may complete training and certifications to progress to a Technology Project Manager position if available
