Background:

Because we work with many talented manufacturer partners, we are in a unique position to help our integration clients choose the best products available, value engineer projects, increase their profitability and create unique and elegant designs.

We are looking for a talented, driven, technology-minded regional sales manager to drive our business in the Midwest territory. In this role, you will work with integrators and consultants to introduce new and unique products into their systems designs. You will also work with corporate, educational and HOW end users to develop business and drive it back through the channel.

Major responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for generating new business in education, corporate, government and medical accounts in the Midwest Region.
  2. Responsible for maintaining and building relationships with existing clients and manufacturers.
  3. Help integration clients value-engineer their designs with new or unique technology to help them win business profitably.
  4. Become technically proficient with all of BTX’s products and work with your inside sales team members to provide overall excellent customer service.
  5. Utilize the technical experts within BTX to maximize sales.
  6. Ability to give product demonstrations and presentations to small and large groups of people.
  7. Meet or exceed individual sales goals on a quarterly basis.
  8. Travel within the Midwest territory and attend 1-2 national industry trade shows.

Experience:

  1. Knowledge of audiovisual technologies and systems
  2. A minimum of 3 years, and preferably 5+ years of outside sales / territory management experience.

Education:

A 4 Year college degree.

Additional qualifications:

We are looking for somebody who is able to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients and consultants to uncover new business opportunities. The ability to communicate effectively and accurately verbally and in writing is critical.
