Job Title: Fitness Center - Fitness Trainer
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, PRN
Job Location: Kansas City, MO
Job Summary: The Lifestyle Center is an on-site Occupational Health setting utilizing a multidisciplinary approach through Medical, Rehab and Fitness programs providing Occupational Health and Wellness to employees and contractors to reduce injuries and illnesses and promote wellness through a holistic approach. The Fitness Center Trainer will conduct group classes and implement Fitness programs. Delivery of services to include health and fitness management, work conditioning, and general fitness center duties.
o Orientations to facilities and program amenities and options
o Conduct fitness assessments per the Harley-Davidson Program design (e.g., height, weight, body composition, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance)
o One on One sessions regarding Personal Profiles and Exercise Plans
· Supervision of exercise and activity areas (especially during peak times)
· Conduct group class programs
· Conduct the Work-Conditioning program
· Monitor usage of the fitness center and ensure that users comply with all rules and regulations
· Assist in maintaining a complete inventory of equipment and supplies belonging to or in control of Harley-Davidson
· 2-4 years’ experience highly preferred
· Demonstrated experience in musculoskeletal knowledge
· Knowledge of Medical Terminology a plus
· Demonstrated experience in conducting wellness and personal training sessions
Work Environment: On-site Fitness Center in an industrial setting. Steel Toed Safety Shoes required. Hearing Protection may be required depending upon site. Safety Glasses required.

Able to lift 35 lbs.
Walk quickly to shop floor to manage emergencies carrying emergency equipment
Flexible hours as needed for business purposes – may require weekends
