As a Media Manager, you work with our creative team to manage the production and delivery of a wide range of creative projects such as videos, print pieces, digital advertisements, and landing pages / microsites. You make sure it all comes together on specification, on time, and at the level of quality we expect by ushering projects through the various stages in the journey from initial concept through production, internal and external reviews, and delivery.
In short: you work with the creative leaders to turn ideas into a series of steps and milestones to execute, then support and empower the creatives by helping wrangle the resources needed to get it done.
You report to and work closely with the Associate Creative Director, consult with Project Managers and check-in with all members of the creative team regularly.
A Typical Day:
Creating project punch lists and timelines in coordination with creative team leadership and the project manager.

Moving content through various review processes, internally and with our clients, using both online project management tools and meetings as needed to facilitate.
Preparing briefs for creatives with clear and concise specifications.
Facilitating meetings and collaboration between team members to produce better work.
Organizing assets and managing file systems so project collateral is consistently easy to find to minimize the overhead involved in tracking down project details.
Reviewing and providing quality control on media deliverables.
Assisting in Producing activities such as searching for and securing locations, props, etc. needed to execute a creative production.
Reviewing project budgets, timesheets, and expense reports, ensuring the project is staying within its given guardrails.
A Great Candidate:
Has meticulous attention to detail, writes everything down, and checks it twice. Nothing gets by you. You are the one that catches the small problems nobody else sees.
Practices excellent time management and budgeting skills. You know your way around a spreadsheet and take pride in that.
Gets fulfillment from helping much less organized creative types have the freedom and space to create awesome work.
Has the tenacity to chase things down and get rejected by 50 people if that's what is necessary to make something happen.
Can be assertive, direct, and clear about keeping expectations in line without killing creative vibes or being a naysayer of the group.
Understands the basics of media such as file types, aspect ratios, dimensions, etc.
Stays up to date with a deep passion for our ever-evolving media landscape.
Is a clever problem solver who can continuously adapt to new situations. If the creative team is doing its job well, it's often coming up with ideas that don’t have an established convention or approach yet.
This is a full-time and salaried position. It includes an unlimited paid time off policy, a company contributed healthcare plan, and a company matching 401(k) program after 1 year. We take all federal holidays off and have a flexible culture around work from home when needed, though we prefer to be together in our studio to do our best work. We additionally disburse half of our profit as bonuses (only when we have profits, of course) and have a number of workplace perks that are constantly evolving.
We respect and encourage a life outside of BRINK, including passion projects and side gigs that help you do the things you want to do whenever it doesn’t align with what we have to do. Deadlines govern everything, so sometimes we have to work longer hours. That will be the exception, not the rule.
We believe the concept of work-life balance is a misnomer. Work is such a significant part of one’s life that creating a wall should never be the goal. We want the people you work with, the spaces you work within, and the clients you serve to be meaningful and fulfilling to you. This is an ongoing dialogue we have as a team in the choices of projects we take on and the direction we move as an organization.
This is a junior-level position and will likely see applicants between 2 and 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, media-related role (either at an agency, as a freelancer, on a client marketing team, or at a production company). We might take a chance on someone entry-level if they impress us, so please apply if the above description appeals to you. Past roles that likely transition nicely into this job include traffic managers, producers, and project managers.
Starting salary is between $40-$50k annually, dependent on skill level and experience.
