~~Equipment & Warehouse Assistant Primary Duties • Assist the Equipment & Warehouse manager in the following areas: o Ensure that all equipment needed is in working order o Identify specific equipment needed for an event (including peripherals) o Create packing lists o Conduct pack § Test and pack required peripherals § Pack accessories as required § Boxes packed and labeled so that items can be easily identified at venue § Shipping and tracking per the Shipping & Logistics below • Maintain equipment storage bins • Preparation of tool kits for shows • Create shipping label kits • Tool inventory and management • Assist with cleaning of office and warehouse
Assist in Managing Maintenance, Inventory and Storage of Equipment • Assist the Equipment & Warehouse manager in the following areas: o Track /Manage equipment o Maintain and update equipment lists § Track purchase date and location § Purchase price § Current location § Special notes (damage history, parts replaced, etc.) • Notes on repairs and fixes, times, dates, locations • Time/Date of next scheduled maintenance • Notes on ‘to do’ for a particular unit (ie. Trakker Software update) § Serial Number § Warranty contact and duration o Equipment Organization § Primarily responsible for keeping storage bins neat and orderly including proper labeling of all bins and drawers
Assist the Tradeshow Technicians, as necessary o Work with techs to pre-load and test custom software o Work with techs to pre-program routers and LAN modems, if possible o Refurbish equipment returning from events o Locate and process inventory sold on eBay to prepare for shipping to customers
General Responsibilities • Maintain warehouse in neat and orderly fashion • Alert supervisor to low inventory • Local errands / courier (sometimes in personal vehicle) • General facilities maintenance o Maintain cleanliness and neatness of office/tech areas o General maintenance of office/warehouse, as needed o Overall clean up of building/ parking lot area
Special Projects • Must be on-call to manage, track and address shipping issues as they impact our events • Assist with auditing of all shipment billing – Freight & FedEx/UPS • Assist with identifying, evaluate, purchase new equipment along with other team members. • Assist GPS unit maintenance and programming • Ensure company vehicles are clean (inside and out) • Assist with maintenance and prep of BP aircraft

This position is one that requires a high degree of physicality working in environments that may not be climate controlled at all times. If you cannot lift up to 65 pounds safely by yourself, if you cannot stand on your feet for long periods of time or if you have any existing health issue that prevents you from working in a warehouse environment please consider this before applying.
The ultimate goal of this position is to promote the Warehouse Assistant to become an active member of the Technical Team. This will require working knowledge of the warehouse activities and inventory from top to bottom as well as a firm grasp of basic technical skills learned on the job. Prior IT experience is a plus but not a requirement. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to learn in a fast-paced environment while managing several tasks at one time.

Travel Requirement While this position is not primarily a travel position there may be times of the year where travel is required. We anticipate that travel could be up to 20% of the work year. Adequate notice will be given, generally 1 to 2 weeks, but if travel is out of the question then this position is not a good fit. Ideally the candidate would possess a US passport since we do occasionally support international events in Canada, Mexico and Europe.
