Gas & Oil Company wants to hire military veterans for full-time positions. MUST have a technical background in order to qualify for this position.
Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Trainee - Provides support with the supervision of field installation and operation of Managed Pressure Drilling jobs including pre-planning and logistics, supervision of all on-site personnel and post-well performance summary reporting.
Typical schedule will be 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. While they are ramping up, you may work a slightly different schedule (i.e. 2 ½ on and 1 ½ off).
Must be able to start work by July 1st, 2013
No DUI’s in the last 3 years
No felonies or major misdemeanors in the last 5 years
Must have an active drivers license
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 5 years
Individuals should be motivated and career oriented with the ability to work long hours under stressful situations.
Pay and Benefits
Training pay is at $17.00 per hour. Training lasts 6 to 8 weeks. You get daily overtime for anything over 8 hours in a day and 40 hours in a week. Average take home pay for a first year employee is $68,000. After training you will receive a $100 a day rig bonus, $46 a day per diem.

They are targeting prior military because of the leadership skills they posses. There will be multiple supervisory openings over the next 24 months. Supervisors make six figure salaries. This is a great foot into the oil and gas industry. They typically target industry experienced candidates for these jobs.
Candidate needs to relocate their self and live within a 4 hour radius of Douglas, WY (Rig Site). Cities and states within that range are Denver, CO – Cheyenne, WY - Utah –- Nebraska - South Dakota.
Interviews will take place in Austin, TX on Thursday, May 30th at a location and time to be determined. Candidates must provide their own transportation and accommodations to the interview.
