Our health insurance agency offers insurance products nationwide for baby boomers age 65+ in 48 states. We are a top national producer for well-known insurance companies like Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare and we are rapidly growing. Our growing company will be moving into a beautiful brand new office space in January 2020 and we will be expanding our Marketing Department.
We are seeking an entry-level digital marketing assistant to join our Marketing Team. This person will help our agency grow its brand, influence and online presence, and will be responsible for driving prospects to conversions. Employee will report directly to the Marketing Director to assist and facilitate all digital marketing, website content, social media and SEO efforts.
Preferred candidates will have no more than two jobs in the last 5 years. (Recent college grads are an exception)

Assists team with marketing and branding efforts for the company on all fronts
Research, create, write, edit, and publish web-based blog content with original text and images
Assist the social media team with replying to questions and comments across all platforms
Researches websites that would make good targets for guest posts
Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
Assists with monitoring search engine rankings and implements methods of growing organic rank
Help the team design graphics for use on our company website and in social media efforts
Meets weekly with Marketing Team to review the schedule of upcoming marketing activities and plan marketing initiatives
Excellent research, writing, editing and communication skills
Superb attention to spelling and grammar
Willing to become well-versed in Medicare information
Must be flexible and comfortable adapting to different writing styles
Knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as, content marketing, email marketing, influencer marketing and social media marketing
Good understanding of major marketing channels
Strong organizational skills and focus
Competitive, friendly, positive, loyal team player with a strong work ethic
Excellent initiative, able to work on your own without constant direction
Good design eye and Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus but not required
