Our residents are dual-diagnosed: high-functioning, mildly intellectually disabled and also struggle with mental illnesses. They are fun to interact with and can perform all their own self-care needs with prompting and minimal help. The primary work of the Direct Support Professional within this organization is to support each individual in making positive and responsible choices, engaging in socially acceptable behaviors, and integrating them into the community while promoting the greatest level of independence possible for each individual. If you are coming into this field with no prior experience and are compassionate and capable of performing these kinds of supports, we can provide all the necessary training for you to succeed. Part-time and Full-time positions available.
