Social Media/Web Design Specialist

2nd Line Marketing, a well-established “boutique” online marketing company, is seeking to hire a full time Social Media/Web Design Specialist to become a critical part of our team of creative professionals. This is a permanent, full time position with flexibility and opportunity for growth and development for the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Social Media/Web Design Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and customer care strategies through the use of social media and web design. The ideal candidate will also have SEO and graphic design experience.


  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategies for select clients
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Stay current with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Track metrics on audience, content views and competitors
  • Write, develop and strategize for online content production and scheduling
  • Work with client and creative team to determine client needs and project specifications
  • Work within timelines and deadlines for project completion dates
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization is preferred but not required
  • Use of graphic design to meet client objectives is preferred but not required
  • Modifying and editing designs is preferred but not required
  • Designing and developing client brand identity preferred
  • Provide a positive client experience


  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Strong understanding of graphic design terminology, design standards and esthetic design concepts preferred
  • Experience using graphic design programs including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. preferred
  • Proficient in web languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc
  • Experience using Google programs such as Gmail, Google Docs and Google Drive


  • BS degree in Marketing or related field or comparable job experience

Climate controlled office environment.

Job Type/Schedule:

Full-time position

Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm (flexibility available)
