Busy Lansdale Company has an immediate opening for a Customer Service/Accounts Receivable Associate with experience in a Manufacturing Environment with heavy call voume.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Purpose:
Provides high-level of customer support through the processing of customer credit applications, daily collection calls, customer complaints, return authorizations, and freight claims. Liasion between external customers, production, accounting, and sales. Performs other tasks as requested by the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

•Daily collection calls
•Ensure timely payments on customer accounts
•Negotiate financial/payment arrangements
•Negotiate and release system held orders
•Establish and maintain a good rapport with customers
•Maintain customer credit lines and terms
•Print monthly statements to send to customers
•Research and resolve any AR issues
•Receive and post all deposits
•Communicate with customers and sales representatives regarding the payment status of accounts with balances over 45 days old
•Recommend accounts to be placed on credit hold
•Reports collection activity to the Chief Financial Officer
•Perform credit checks and establish new customer accounts
•Performs other accounting duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer
•Answers incoming Customer Service phone calls
•Communicates issues with orders to appropriate sales staff
•Obtain freight quotes and arrange freight carriers as needed
•Maintains customer notes
•Takes & processes return authorization requests
•Takes & processes customer complaints and freight claims
•Assists in rotating schedule to cover for Receptionist during lunch/vacation
•Performs other tasks as requested by the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer

•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Minimum 5+ years Customer Service and/or Business to Business Credit/Collection experience in a manufacturing office environment required
•Team player with strong customer service orientation
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong negotiating skills
•Demonstrated follow up skills
•Self-starter with the ability and willingness to adjust to frequently changing priorities
•Detail oriented
•Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
•Ability to multi-task
•Reliable and dependable
•Ability to interact with all levels of management
•Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) a must
•Experience with MAS90 Software
