We are looking for passionate cooks to join our team and work along side award winning celebrity Chef Timon Balloo at his newly opened name sake restaurant Balloo Restaurant.

Ideal candidates should:

-have at least 2 years of previous fine dining or chef driven restaurant experience

-be able to handle versatility of a daily changing menu

-volume and able to function under stress

-have flexible work hours and be dedicated / available

-be able to quickly integrate into a team

-must have excellent professionalisn and communication skills (open kitchen where you will be seen by guest)

Compensation: dependent on experience

Job Duties: Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner, Follow recipes and presentation specifications, Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently, Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation, Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment, Restock items as needed throughout the shift, Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Schedule: Holidays and Weekends required- Night shift and Day shift available - 8 hour shift

BALLOO RESTAURANT is inspired by the blend of cultures of our chef owner Chef Timon Balloo and his more than 20 years of his culinary knowledge.

The flavors displayed range from West Indian and Chinese to local miami inspiration. Items from Indian Curry to Thai Spices are served served in an intimate restaurant setting. Comfort food elevated to the next level.

At Balloo we will share our interpretation of authentic street-style family dining that has been re-interpreted with a modern feel to appeal to various lifestyles. Guests who live a healthy lifestyle can have the option to eat traditionally heavy foods expressed in a lighter way.
All of the cultures expressed in our food show off vibrant colors and a multitude of flavors which really define what we are trying to highlight and share with our guests. 


The menu changes daily based on availability of fresh ingredients and chef’s creative intuition. All plates are served family style to encourage an authentic cultural experience.
