The GSM is responsible for managing the dealership’s new vehicle sales operation. In this role, you are accountable for the quality, capability and effectiveness of the dealerships retail sales and f&I force, and for ensuring that the dealerships standards for customer satisfaction, performance and value are met. It is your responsibility to make certain that objectives for sales, profits and cost controls are on target. It is also your charge to select, train and support your sales team, so that they can provide customers with an outstanding dealership experience.
