As Director of 3PL Operations your key focuses are to improve profitability thru quality of service and continuous improvement, increase revenue thru growth and business expansion, and optimize costs thru procurement and partner management. This role will see you design new processes, implement new tools, contribute to the pursuit of winning new business, lead teams to achieve operational excellence and financial excellence, develop human resources strategy, and manage strategic partner relationships.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Take ownership of the business processes used to manage the order to cash cycle.
Be the initial superuser of the software systems used to execute 3PL business processes.
Maximize operational efficiency using defined KPIs.
Develop recommended strategy to implement and monitor improvement programs for:
Personally coach, train and mentor direct reports and provide career development opportunities through training and quality management activities.
Coordinate operational staffing needs with the Vice President of Operations and HR Manager.
Work with Sales to land new business including participating in customer meetings, solution planning and new business implementation.
Collaborate with the Implementation Manager to ensure that all new business development has a viable operational solution.
Develop, foster and grow positive and professional relationships with executive level customers and partners.
Hold monthly and quarterly business review meetings with high level partner contacts.
Our chosen candidate will have at least three years of hands-on 3PL Operations experience!
