POSITION SUMMARY

The Local Store Marketing Manager will assist and provide support to the Aroma Joe’s marketing department in the development, coordination and implementation of local store marketing programs that support local sales and increase brand awareness. This position will work closely with the entire marketing department to maintain and strengthen the brand through local store marketing efforts to include social, digital, radio, broadcast, influencer, experiential or earned media activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with DAs, local franchisees, and agency partners to help local stores strategically develop store-specific marketing programs that build brand awareness and increase sales at the local level that support our overall marketing initiatives.
  • Train Local Store Marketing, including presenting to franchisees to help them better implement local marketing activities.
  • Help coordinate and manage experiential events for AJF.
  • Gather, reporting, and share marketing best practices.
  • Develop & manage all aspects of LSM Tool Kit, including program overviews, creative, and reporting.
  • Maintain competitive analysis on national and local competitors.
  • Coordinate fulfillment process of Local Store Marketing materials.
  • Maintain brand standards and creative guidelines.
  • Manage all marketing input requests from franchisees.

NATIONAL PROMOTIONAL MARKETING

  • Help manage the strategic development process of marketing initiatives/promotions and the impact it will have on local stores.
  • Provide creative input for development and coordination of materials.
  • Coordinate implementation and tracking of secondary marketing promotions.

SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge of QSR industry.
  • Experience dealing with franchisees and/or multi-unit operators.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated creative, writing and editing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of Canva.
  • Strong team player – the role will interact with a number of cross functional teams and local franchisees.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve business problems strategically and intuitively take advantage of market opportunities.
  • Ability to motivate and able to work closely with local franchisees.
  • Ability to analyze market data and research and develop plans that leverage key findings and opportunities.
  • Proven experience in developing strategic marketing plans to achieve specific business objectives and company goals.
  • Gather marketing materials from competitive companies in the field and make recommendations
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrity and ethics – builds trust and follows through on commitments.
  • Flexible and capable of adapting to different roles in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without continuous supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and take responsibility for producing measurable results within deadlines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

  • At least 3+ years sales and/or marketing related experience, preferably in an agency or similar franchisee/QSR environment.
  • Ability to lead or assist leadership on cross functional projects and teams.
  • Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.
