THE OPPORTUNITY

HOMEOWNER DEFICIENCY TECHNICIAN

Do you take pride in the hands-on work and take pride in your skills? Do you believe in giving nothing less than your absolute best and maintaining a can-do attitude every day while working for an award-winning developer? Then we want you!

You will be working in a fast-paced environment on-site as part of the Homeowner Experience Team! Aragon is seeking a long-term employee to assist in the delivery of excellent homeowner experiences. You will be asked to turnover completed suites by various sub-contractors taking them to a higher level of finishing for homeowner occupancy. Skill sets required:

  • 5+ years of general construction knowledge
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting
  • Flooring Repairs
  • Good communication as you will be dealing directly with homeowners
  • Positive attitude and professional manner as you will be representing Aragon
  • Must be a self-starter and independent worker
  • Baseboard casing
  • Patching and painting
  • Tile repair/installation

Not required but an asset – adjust doors and frames, troubleshooting mechanical i.e. leaky faucets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Lock-offs, Homeowner Orientations, building walk-throughs and provide quality deficiency repairs as required by the New Home Warranty program.
  • Attend service calls and address warrantable issues as required.
  • Working with the head office team, ensure a smooth transition process from construction to completion.
  • Monitor trades performing warranty work, ensuring they represent Aragon appropriately to homeowners and verify completion of work.
  • Assist with other assigned duties as required.
