The company has developed the unique BioElectrochemical Treatment Technology (BETT®) – the only technology on the market that can offer direct treatment of some of the most challenging industrial wastewaters. Aquacycl seeks a full-time Assembly Technician who is passionate about the Aquacycl mission and will eagerly assist with the manufacture of product components, assembly/construction of BETT reactors, and construction of packaged treatment plants. The Technician will report directly to the CTO and work under the supervision of an Engineering Technician.

Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and inventory of hardware components
  • Material handling/pre-treatment of carbon textiles
  • Manufacturing and assembly of BETT reactor components and reactors
  • Component quality assurance and quality control assessments
  • Ensuring production cleanliness and following 5S principals for organization and workflows
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures for assembly and quality assurance testing of components and products
  • Executing tasks safely and with strict adherence to health and safety measures during manufacturing and assembly
  • Assembly of hardware components and support structures for containerized systems
  • PVC plumbing and leak testing
  • Maintenance and operation of assembly equipment as necessary

Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, self-motivation, outstanding organizational and time management skills, a high-level of initiative, flexibility to handle a variety of tasks (including physical labor) and be able to shift priorities quickly.

Candidates must be able to execute physical tasks, such as using hand-tools, using power tools, and occasionally lifting 50-pound pieces of hardware. Technicians must have reliable transportation and be able to work within standard working hours (9a-6p).
