Orthopedic (Ortho) Hospitalist – NP or PA
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an experience Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established and reputable orthopedic specialty Hospitalist practice in Boston.
While reporting directly to the Chief Hospitalist, the NP/PA will work closely with physicians and nursing staff on medical/surgical floors.
Responsibilities include: patient assessment and treatment, writing orders, patient education, reassessing patients as needed, discharge planning, dictating/writing discharge orders, serving as a resource to the nursing staff, maintaining current, accurate, medical record documentation, and communicating to attending and/or primary physician the plan of care.
- Full Time, Monday – Friday, Day Shift
- Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 3-5 years acute care experience is preferred
- Must have a current license to practice in the state of MA
