Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, or warehouse. Keep records and compile stock reports. Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas by performing the required duties.

Essential Functions Statements
•Receive and count stock items, and record data manually using computer (SAGE100).
•Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses.
•Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
•Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in Inventory Room.
•Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued.
•Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Knowledge of Receiving Department procedures and documents. Pulls parts/ materials for work orders and place in designated locations. Adjust inventory and pull sheet counts. Update pick tickets. Maintain “ Sign Out” log for those parts/ materials that are not on work order pull sheets. Upon completion of sheet, submit to Operations Manager for inventory follow up by the Planner. Work with Machine Shop on status of raw material work orders. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
•Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
•Provide assistance to shipping and receiving when needed.
•Operate forklift in a warehouse environment.
•Work with production to address any shortages or damaged parts.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 1 plus years of experience
Computer Skills: Must be experienced in the use of MS Windows based computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access Data-Entry). Experience with SAGE 100 (formerly MAS-200) or similar production planning database software is a plus.
Other Requirements: Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Reasoning Ability- ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
