1. Leads and manages the company’s recruiting program and exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance related to recruiting and other human resources issues including, without limitation, recruiting strategy, goal setting, evaluating and purchasing recruiting sources and systems, determining who to interview, making hiring recommendations, evaluating and determining the acceptability of reference and background checks, and so on.

2. Anticipates and understands the hiring needs of the company through frequent communication with the company’s leadership.

3. Places all job postings and updates them as necessary.

4. Reviews all resumes for open positions.

5. Conducts phone interviews with qualified candidates and, from there, determines who will be scheduled for an in-person interview.

6. Schedules additional interviews with qualified candidates.

7. Coordinates the interview process with managers, ensuring the managers have all the information they need to conduct interviews.

8. Facilitates and/or prepares offer letter, and coordinates background check, drug screen, I-9, and so on.

9. Manages the onboarding process for each new hire.

10. Provides strategic insight into the recruiting process. Makes recommendations for improving candidate flow, candidate experience, and the overall recruiting process.

11. Interfaces with community and civic organizations to seek opportunities to promote employment with the company, including career fairs, campus events, and the like.

12. Follows up with each candidate.

13. Administrates all random drug screenings.

14. Processes bills related to the recruiting and hiring process.

15. Assists with other HR functions as needed.

16. Provides candidates with a remarkable experience.

17. Is an ambassador for the company’s culture and purpose.

18. Drives for the company in a safe manner.

19. Regular, reliable on-site attendance.
