We are looking for a VoIP Technician who is able to act as the central point of contact for the technical aspects of our VoIP services and infrastructure. This role relies heavily on the Technicians ability to assess a client’s network and understand how our VoIP offerings will work with that network while enhancing the client’s experience and overall engagement.
Primarily, the VoIP Technician will focus on the VoIP aspects of the business. However, since VoIP is a growing area of our business, the VoIP Technician will be expected to assist the Help Desk by answering calls and working tickets for general desktop support as business needs demand on occasion.
Must be able to:
Process and handle incoming tickets for VoIP requests for existing customers
Work with new VoIP customers to build out and customize their systems
Coordinate and work with third parties and vendors when necessary
Coordinate with the Sales team on the technical implementations of VoIP products and services
Identify and troubleshoot network equipment, internet, and any other issues that may affect VoIP performance
Develop and document VoIP troubleshooting procedures (as it relates to the phone, internet, carrier, etc.)
Perform basic desktop support troubleshooting when necessary
