AFS is looking for a Merchant Services Support. AFS was founded in 2017, we are an innovative financial technology payment provider with a mission to revolutionize the financial technology industry through innovative, all encompassing payment solutions. Our leadership team has over 150 years of combined payments experience with TSYS and First Data/Fiserv.
This position will be based in our Southlake Office. (Please do not apply if you are looking for remote work.)
Answers incoming customer calls from merchants and sales agents regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns.
Opening, notating, and completing client trouble tickets.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller.
Provide assistance to both internal and external customers while exhibiting tact, courtesy, and professional demeanor.
Resolving problems and implementing solutions.
Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call.
Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
Impact the company's bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
The successful candidate must have a background to include:
At least 1 year of customer/technical support experience preferred.
Previous merchant services experience is a plus!
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with TSYS and/or First Data/Fiserv is a BIG plus.
