Advantage SCI is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist - Screening Interviewer to be considered for employment. Individual will to support the Personnel Security Division and Investigations Division. Duties will include: 1) the review of SEC developed SEAD 4 adjudicative relevant information in SEC systems of record, relevant security forms, or through the continuous vetting/continuous evaluation system process; 2) conducting security screening interviews to assess and validate the trustworthiness of DIA and designated DoD affiliated personnel in response to SEAD 4 adjudicative guidelines; and 3) the authoring of actionable reports and forwarding of timely and thorough results of interviews to the Personnel Security Division for their clearance access determination.
Use judgment and experience to review, assess, and analyze collected continuous vetting and continuous evaluation system information contained in a SEC system of record, relevant security forms, or other available databases to synopsize derogatory or pertinent information applicable to the SEAD 4 guidelines.
Conduct timely and thorough screening interviews of DIA and designated DoD affiliated persons to capturing relevant security, suitability, insider threat, and pertinent information related to past continuous vetting and continuous evaluation system or past security form reporting applicable to the SEAD4 Adjudicative Guidelines or of interest to the Security Investigations Division or Insider 1breat Division.
Demonstrated strong writing skills to include experience and acumen in creating reports of investigation, reports of interview, and summaries of captured derogatory information containing a timely and thorough synopsis of interview supporting a clearance access determination.
Knowledge and demonstrated ability to elicit truthful responses from interviewees regarding security, suitability, insider threat, and potentially criminal acts in a non-custodial setting to questions related to SEAD 4 adjudicative concerns and information developed through continuous vetting and the continuous evaluation process, or on past security forms or reports.
Possess a TS/SCI and successfully passing CI Poly.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent written and oral reporting skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and customers across geographically dispersed sites.
Experience working in DIA a plus.
Must have a valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (Only valid within 30 days of hire). To obtain the certification, visit http://iase.disa.mil/eta/.
