To sell Electronic products and services, represented by ATS: and to be a consulting business partner to customers to determine current and future needs. This position helps customers by providing the best solutions to their problems; and being a liason between the customer and the companies we represent. Moreover, people in the position build relationships and rapport with customers (they become more than just a point of contact); and also understand the customer's processes.
Call on end users such as Engineers or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other accounts to provide solutions to customers and act as a trusted advisor in applying our products to their application needs.
Review specifications, application requirements, and other customer documents to develop and suggest the best solution to meet their needs.
Provide technical support to customers relating to use and quality issues involving our products.
Support distribution channels, as customer requires.
Develop and grow a territory by generating product sales.
Provide sales reports monthly and weekly sales call report.
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or Associates degree in a technical field with at least 2 years of technical sales experience within oil exploration industry.
Ability to recognize key decision makers within a customer's organization
Recognize sales opportunities beyond the customer's perceived needs or requirements.
Ability to be persistent and determined, and to handle rejection.
Base, plus commission ($40k - $120k+).
