Title: Assistant Manager
Job Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in providing services to customers and assists in management activities, trains new employees, prepares work schedules and monitors work performance, manages the operation in the absence of the manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Records information such as personnel, production and operational data on specified forms and reports.
•Suggests and initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discipline and hires.
•Directs crew leads and supervisors engaged in daily activities.
•Confers with staff and workers to ensure production, service, and personnel problems are resolved.
•Examines and inspects work progress, equipment, materials and work sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
•Explains and demonstrates work task to new workers or assigns workers to experienced workers for further training
•Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance to increase efficiency and safety
•Confers with customers, managers, supervisors, and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.
•Performs other related duties as required or requested.

•Organizing and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to accomplish certain work.
•Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution.
•The ability to understand and organize a problem and then select a method to solve the problem.
•Adjusting actions in relation to others actions
•Knowledge of principles and methods for directing people including their relative cost, advantages, and limitations.
•Knowledge of policies and practices involved in personnel/human resource functions this includes recruitment, selection, training, regulations, procedures, and labor relations.
•Managing one’s own time and the time of others.
•Knowledge of safety and security operations, rules, regulations, precautions, preventions and the protection of people, data, and property.
•The ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing so others will understand.

•Willing to work multiple shifts, holidays and weekends as requested by manager. Must pass drug screen and 10 year background check (employment/criminal), speak and understand English.
