salarly: $85,000 - $92,000

Location: pittsburgh, pa

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science or Human Resource Management
• Must possess 5 or more years in SAP configuration/maintenance/implementation related to HR-Safety-Payroll business processes (Personnel Administration and Personnel Development modules)

Position Summary

The successful candidate must possess skills to design, configure, and implement SAP and other IT solutions to support HR-Safety-Payroll business processes. Must be able to develop an understanding of business requirements based on earnest dialog with business process experts and business process owners. Must be able to identify, document and communicate scope changes and inter-team and intra-team issues. Must be proficient at producing user procedures and scripts, training materials and job aids to support the overall system. Must be able to independently design, configure, and test all components and evaluate configuration alternatives. Must have familiarity with business to the extent that fundamental processes are understood.

Target Position Responsibilities

Configure/program system components according to ASAP methodology based on business scenarios and requirements, create documentation describing the changes that would enable a knowledgeable user to duplicate the changes from the documentation
Test system components, working in conjunction with members of the BPX group, document testing effort
Evaluate change impact of proposed system change(s) to current organization. Identify scope changes and issues
Develop user procedures/scripts, training materials and job aids. If called upon to do so, assist BPX to train system end users
Develop detailed documentation and communicate work/project status coherently; verbally, and in writing
Familiarity with on-line help for SAP HR such as SAP Support Portal and ASUG

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or related discipline
Must be willing to attend SAP courses related to HR-Safety-Payroll Systems – Occasional travel to class required
Must possess 3-5 years relevant business experience
Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
Must possess the aptitude to do the required research to discover solutions to complex issues and have determination to stay with the issue until resolved – have the drive to work independently
Must be capable of working in a team environment to accomplish measurable goals and objectives
Must be able to work with a variety of personality types to resolve critical system issues in a timely manner
Must have a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality with sensitive data
