The primary objective for this role is to provide professional services on new workstation deployments and/or system upgrade projects and remote/on-site client support.
The Professional Services Technician will maintain a consistent on-site schedule to provide the following services:
Provide Project Implementation of workstation upgrades and new technology
Follow project plan
Provide end-user training
Troubleshoot escalated tickets on issues as necessary
Provide support for workstation and application installations on new deployments
Provide daily project updates
The Professional Services Technician will participate in an integrated team of service delivery professionals. This team may consist of Help Desk Technicians, system and network engineers, additional Network Admins, and project/account managers. Working within this team approach is critical to the success of this position and communication between and across teams is critical to providing the client with a superior service. He/she will also be responsible for maintaining standards consistent with ACSI offerings and streamlining / standardizing the clients’ configuration for ease of support.
The following duties and responsibilities are essential for this position:
Maintain a consistent communication for all projects with client Point of Contacts
Review and suggest improvements to procedures that document best practices when working with particular software/hardware/network tools or troubleshooting problems.
Follow escalation points for specific problems
Review all open tickets, for clients projects that you are responsible for. Make sure all open issues are being addressed appropriately. Communicate status of open project issues to the client as necessary.
Review all open projects with the client; deliver new project proposals or modifications as necessary.
Document all updated client information in Client Knowledge Base (Connectwise). Review this information on a regular basis to ensure its completeness and accuracy.
Review all client information with other team members to ensure continuity.
Hand off projects to the Clients’ assigned Teams
Participate in after hours support on-call rotation
Windows MTA: 98-349 or equivalent
Watchguard Certified Expert (preferred)
CCENT Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician
3+ years supporting Microsoft Windows XP/7/8/10
3+ years experience supporting backup software – Storage Craft Preferred
3+ years experience supporting Spyware and Antivirus software
Some experience working with server and network monitoring applications
Some experience supporting network routers/firewalls/VPN concentrators
