IT Help Desk Technician

Accel Robotics is hiring a customer service oriented IT Help Desk Technician individual to work with our team in San Diego!

We are looking for an IT Technician to work onsite in our San Diego Headquarters, as well as our 2 Valet Market locations. We are expanding our IT department to ensure the productivity and availability of AR company resources to our employees and clients while continuing to enhance our Information Security (IS) practices. This role requires a customer service mindset, taking on IT Support for the organization, both in person and remotely supporting small teams in other locations.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure laptops, on-premise servers, printers and scanners and other hardware
• Provide help desk support through Jira and one-on-one requests for employee laptops, servers, hardware, network connectivity, etc
• Provide new hire internal systems orientation
• Administrator for software/systems; Set up new employee accounts, maintain existing employee accounts (Google, Slack, Github, AWS, etc.)
• Maintain asset management for new hires, coordinate purchase of new equipment, anticipate equipment failure and have a readily available IT stock
• Improve internal processes for new hire set up, promotion and terminations to comply with AR company policies
• Implementation of security strategies with the Information Security Specialist, assist in employee training to support AR security initiatives, including SOC 2 audit preparation and maintaining compliance within the organization
• Establish best practices and manage the fleet of employee mobile devices, including company tablets and cell phones used for running our operations in our retail locations
• This position will be split between our San Diego locations - one in Kearny Mesa and the others in downtown San Diego; candidates must have their own transportation.

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Information Technology or similar field, or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of Help Desk experience
• Experience working with Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems
• Ability to access printers, lift monitors and set up other IT related equipment
• Experience working with Jira and/or another ticketing system
• Experience with networking and administration
• Customer service mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience with bash or other scripting languages (preferred)
