We are looking for an experienced and passionate, data and results driven Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) to join our team. The DMM will be responsible for the company’s digital presence, which includes management of all digital marketing campaigns, to promote the company’s brand, products and services, while developing and executing marketing and demand-generation strategies across all digital platforms, focusing on driving more profitable lead flow and higher conversions.

The DMM will also oversee a team of marketers and manage the day-to-day of all digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, social, DM, online advertising and email marketing. Cross-functional collaboration will be essential to the role, in order to develop and deploy solutions that support the company’s aggressive growth plans and have a measurable and strategic impact on the API brand and business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, execute, and optimize the overall digital marketing strategy for the company
  • Measure, analyze and report on the performance of the marketing strategy, across all digital channels, including ROI and KPIs
  • Develop annual digital marketing plans, including SEM, SEO, display, retargeting, web site, web video, and social media, to maximize API’s exposure and support business objectives
  • Analyze metrics, identify trends and forecast performance, to optimize campaigns and drive growth
  • Optimize lead generation platforms and develop plans to profitably achieve acquisition targets, cost-per-inquiry, return on investment, and cost-per-acquisition, and quickly adjust as market conditions warrant
  • Develop and implement multi-channel lead nurturing strategies; collaborate across the organization to ensure consistent outreach and follow up to prospective students and university contacts
  • Continuously test to drive innovation and growth in our digital channels
  • Build, test and deploy email campaigns through HubSpot
  • Ongoing optimization of website utilizing content management system
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other members of the marketing team to execute go-to market plans
  • Oversee and manage the social media and blog strategy
  • Create strategies to raise brand awareness
  • Prepare and manage the overall budget for digital marketing initiatives
  • Grow and lead members of the digital marketing team, including ongoing coaching, mentoring, training and supervision of staff
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing technologies and best practices

EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required; college/university degree highly preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
  • 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to build and grow a team of digital marketers
  • Thorough understanding of all digital marketing channels with a proven track record of driving results
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and CRM software
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or HubSpot
  • Familiarity with Craft CMS highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or WordPress preferred
  • Education tools, such as Terra Dotta, Via TRM, Hand Shake and others a big plus
