My client, an international Commercial Property Management firm is currently seeking a Project Manager for their St Albert, Alberta office. The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications and applicable codes. As well, the Project Manager is expected to provide mentoring and guidance to colleagues, Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Project Administrators and may be required to oversee the delivery and team performance for a program of projects. Primary job requirements include, managing repair, capital and operations & maintenance projects through the project life cycle from initiation through to project close out. The Project Manager must develop project work plans and schedules, discuss project priorities with client, Prepare cost estimates and budgets, Forecast monthly revenue, monthly financial reporting and client invoicing, Ensure the governance standards and project methodology are adhered to throughout the project life cycle, Ensure that all project components and activities meet local, provincial and or federal codes and regulations. The Project Manager will actively manage projects on a day to day basis to ensure that project outputs are being delivered on schedule, to budget and to the required quality. The ideal candidate will have an educational background in: Architectural Technology/Technician, Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) and strong knowledge in construction management). A PMP designation would be an asset.
The successful candidate will need to complete a reliability security clearance, so it is a requirement to have lived in Canada for the last 4 years consecutively. Salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + excellent benefits including profit sharing and tuition reimbursement.
