System Test Engineer (A123 Systems, LLC; Livonia, Michigan):
Position Overview The System Test Engineer is responsible for performing System Test Engineering activities consistent with the System Test Lead and System Test Manager’s goals/objectives for A123 Low Voltage and High Voltage battery projects.
Review and analyze System Requirements for testability;
Develop Battery Management System manual test cases and procedures in order to verify BMS System performance against requirements;
Debug and execute system test case procedure;
Develop, debut, and execute Test Case automation scripts;
Analyze root causes of test failures;
Report, track, and resolve software, hardware, and test case issues;
Reproduce customer/field issues.
Minimum Education/Experience requirements:
Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
3 years of experience with automotive electrical systems.
Proven knowledge of System-level verification processes;
1 year of experience with Rationale DOORS, JIRA, and Vector CANAlyzer tools;
Expertise in ECU bench testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop and root cause analysis using test benches;
Troubleshooting skills (hardware and software) using the following tools/technologies: Power supplies, DVM, Oscilloscope, and electronic load;
Proven ability to respond to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment; (6) Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment;
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
