Job Description

  • An Admission Counselor is responsible for enrolling students into under graduate & graduate degree programs for working professionals
  • Admission Counselors receive in-bound calls and emails from organic and paid lead sources. In addition, the Admission Advisor makes out-bound "warm" sales calls (no cold calling) to prospective students who have requested information after responding to internal, targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Sell the program’s benefits to potential students by completing a full needs analysis which includes qualifying that the student meets the application criteria for admissions and handling the prospective students’ objections
  • Making sure financial aid is understood and the student has applied if needed and the understanding of program expectations is conveyed so student can enroll in the programs
  • Admission Advisor’s will regularly help students to understand which program(s) they are best suited for and will often guide students in these choices.
  • Qualify the student and ensure they have appropriate credentials, work experience, GPA, etc.
