Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

ZipRecruiter operates an online employment marketplace that actively connects employers and job seekers to their next great opportunity. We seek excellence in every aspect of our business and are committed to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity. We are committed to opposing modern slavery and forced labor in all forms and we do not tolerate forced labor either within our business itself or within our supply chain. We expect our supply chain (whether direct suppliers or those that directly or indirectly supply our direct suppliers) to share the same values).

The Statement below describes the steps that ZipRecruiter UK Ltd. (and its parent, ZipRecruiter, Inc.), have taken in support of the U.K. Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”). The Act requires certain businesses to disclose information regarding the steps they have taken to eradicate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, child labour, and human trafficking from their supply chain as well as within their own organisation during the previous financial year.

2020-2021 Statement

The majority of our supplier relationships are with those who provide office services such office management services and those who provide us with job advertisements.

We have reviewed our business and supply chain. Neither we nor, to the best of our knowledge, our supply chain make use of forced labour. We have taken the following steps to assess and manage any risk that our supply chain may use forced labour:

  • Where we contract with suppliers in relation to products or services, we do so with reputable suppliers. We require companies directly supplying us with job advertisements in the United Kingdom to confirm that they do not engage in any activity, practice or conduct which would constitute an offence under the Act. We’ve also confirmed that our current supplier for our professional workspace in the United Kingdom has policies a and procedures in place to prevent modern slavery within it’s supply chain.
  • We have adopted an Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy. This Policy implements and enforces effective systems and controls and ensures that our staff have an awareness of slavery and human trafficking and how to identify the signs. This Policy is relevant to all of our staff, but particularly those who have responsibilities in relation to engaging suppliers.
  • We expect all of our staff to treat others with respect and promote equality and diversity. We have a Code of Business Conduct, which lays out the moral and ethical standards that ZipRecruiter expects for all of its staff, including in their dealings with other employees, clients, business partners, and vendors.
  • We have implemented a number of other social impact initiatives designed to encourage staff to think outside our own business. To learn more about these initiatives, please visit our ZipRecruiter.org page.

We will continue to remain vigilant and will review our sourcing processes periodically to ensure that our zero tolerance policy towards slavery, unlawful child labour and human trafficking is upheld.
