Job description
SHIFT: Depending on needs of requesting LBEs, part time or full time.
For Early Voting position: maximum of eight (8) hours a day during early voting.
For Election Day position: up to eight (8) hours the day before election day and up
to fifteen (15) hours on election day.
No overtime.
PROJECT PERIOD:
A field support technician base work location shall be the early voting center or
election day precinct to which the field support technician is assigned and for
training, the training location. He or she may be requested to travel within the
assigned jurisdiction and outside thereof but within the State.
DUTIES:
- Provide support to the assigned early voting or election day location.
- As needed, work with Chief Judges, LBE, and the State’s helpdesk to resolve issues and troubleshoot problems.
- When required, submit incident documentation using approved format.
- Ballot drop box pickups
- Perform other related work assignments as directed by LBE management or Chief Judges.
- Before starting the engagement, meeting with Election Director or their designee in assigned jurisdiction to discuss arrangements and requirements and establish and communicate expectations.
