We work closely with boat rental companies, tour operators, watersports businesses, and activity providers to help them grow revenue, improve efficiency, and create better guest experiences.

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Client Support Specialist to help support our clients through chat, phone, and email. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and is comfortable learning software systems.

Position Summary

The Client Support Specialist will work directly with existing WaveRez clients to provide friendly, professional, and timely support. This includes answering client questions, troubleshooting system-related issues, helping clients understand how to use features, and escalating issues when needed.

The right candidate should have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay patient and professional while assisting clients with different levels of technical experience.

This position plays an important role in ensuring our clients feel supported, heard, and successful while using the WaveRez platform.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide friendly and professional support to WaveRez clients through chat, phone, and email
  • Respond to client questions in a timely and helpful manner
  • Troubleshoot client questions, setup issues, and system-related concerns
  • Help clients understand how to use features within the WaveRez system
  • Advise clients on best practices to improve system use and increase online bookings
  • Document client issues, requests, and feedback clearly
  • Escalate technical issues or product concerns to the appropriate internal team members
  • Gather client feedback regarding product inefficiencies, pain points, and improvement opportunities
  • Share client feedback and suggestions with the product solutions team
  • Assist with creating or updating tutorials, training guides, support documents, and client resources
  • Help review and format client-facing content, including basic English formatting and wording cleanup
  • Maintain consistent communication with the internal team through email and other company communication tools
  • Assist the Product Supervisor, Account Manager, and other team members with related support and operational tasks

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Technical support, software support, or help desk experience preferred

  • Comfortable using chat, email, phone, video calls, and online software platforms
  • Ability to document issues, follow processes, and communicate updates clearly
  • Experience in the watersports, tourism, rental, hospitality, or activity industry is a plus, but not required

  • Must have a strong work ethic and dependable follow-through
  • Must be comfortable working remotely and staying in communication with the team
  • Must be able to work independently after training
  • Must be professional, friendly, and patient when working with clients
  • Must be willing to learn the WaveRez system and related tools
  • Must have reliable internet access and a computer suitable for remote work
