Job description

Small accounting firm seeks experienced Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and file tax returns for Individuals and Small Business
  • Process Extensions and Amended Returns.
  • Monthly Sales Tax filing for some of our clients
  • Quarterly and annual Payroll Returns
  • City and state reports..

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, CLS and ProSystem FX tax software is preferable but not required.
  • 2-3+ years in Tax filing experience required. College degree preferred but not required.

We offer flexible hours. $35-50/hr depending on experience.
