Role and Responsibilities

• Preparation of business and individual tax returns
• Proactive identification of client tax issues, opportunities, and strategies
• Preparation of tax projections, including assisting clients with quarterly estimated tax payments
• Adhere to professional standards and strict client confidentiality
• Commitment to ongoing growth of technical skills and competency
• Developing and fostering meaningful long-term relationships with clients and other professionals
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a public accounting firm, or equivalent work experience
• Hawaii CPA license preferred but not required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tax return preparatory work
• Experience with CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx applications
• Experience with Thomson Reuters
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online applications
